naomi wambui

I am Naomi Wambui, originally from Kenya, I embarked on a journey of personal and professional growth that led me to the Netherlands. I pursued my studies in Tilburg before relocating to Rotterdam for love. Alongside my partner, we are building “Bitcoin Babies,” a project born out of my experiences as a mother and my belief in the transformative power of Bitcoin. Drawing from my Kenyan roots and international insights gained through living abroad, I’m passionate about addressing maternal and infant health challenges. Through “Bitcoin Babies,” we aim to empower mothers with essential nutrition knowledge, irrespective of their financial circumstances, and foster a healthier future for families, inspired by education, love, and the promise of Bitcoin.

Veronicah gacheru

Veronicah Gacheru, born and raised in Nakuru,Kenya. I joined Magomano girls high school then later joined Kibabii University in Bungoma county for a Bachelor’s degree in Renewable energy Technologies. Am passionate about renewable energy and climate change,I am driven to find innovative solutions that can help mitigate its impact. Am also a dexterous hairdresser I do it for leisure.Being a career woman, business lady and a mother, I am enthusiastic about women empowerment and when Naomi approached me on rolling “Bitcoin Babies” program in Kenya, I was excited and determined to empower and educate mothers on infant nutrition alongside fostering a healthier financial future and the promise of bitcoin.

stella itwiri

I’m Stella Mutwiri, born in Meru County and schooled there before joining a short course in salon management. I was raised by my grandmother in a family of six, and I developed a passion for caring for children. It was through my experience in childcare that I was introduced to the ‘Bitcoin Babies’ program. I’m eager to learn and empower myself in matters concerning nutrition and financial savings, with the promise of Bitcoin among other opportunities. Thank you for this opportunity.

I am Maureen Ikata, born in Taita Taveta County in Kenya. I schooled in Taita and later went to Mombasa for a short course. I came from a family of 5 siblings, brought up by a single mum.
I am a mother of two, a boy and a girl. I appreciate Veronicah for introducing me to the Bitcoin Babies program. Hoping to learn more and gain knowledge on infant nutrition, mental health awareness, and financial wellness through the promise of Bitcoin. I appreciate a lot and am willing to continue with the program.

My name is Mary Kawira, I’m from Meru County but now live in Nairobi. I’m a mom raising my adorable baby girl while also running my own business. I learned about the “Bitcoin Babies Program,” which got me interested in infant nutrition and how Bitcoin can help financially. Besides my work, I love doing beauty therapy because it makes people feel good about themselves. Helping others feel confident and beautiful brings me a lot of happiness.

My name is Joyce Njeri Kamau, a proud Kenyan born in Murang’a County. I am the fifth born among ten siblings and currently married with three children – two daughters and one son. I schooled in Murang’a for both primary and high school. Alongside caring for my family, I am deeply passionate about hairdressing and cooking. I am grateful for the opportunity to join the “Bitcoin Babies” Program, where I hope to learn more about infant nutrition and the world of Bitcoin. Thank you for granting me this opportunity.

I was born and bred in Kiambu County in a family of seven children. I schooled in Kiambu county before joining a short culinary course in Nairobi county. I ventured into employment in various places including Nairobi, Mombasa, and Juba. Eventually, I decided to try the hotel business before COVID came and swept my investment away. As a mother of two boys, I am rebuilding a name for myself in the food industry. In my rebuilding journey meeting Veronica has been pivotal. The Bitcoin Babies project promises to help me rise and learn more.

My name is Gladys Wahito, and I hail from Chuka, Nyeri County in Kenya. My educational path took me through Nyahururu, where I cultivated my skills and knowledge. I come from a unique family dynamic, being both the firstborn and the only child. A deep passion drives me, especially when it comes to the art of hairdressing, which has sustained me. With the guidance of Vera, I’ve discovered Bitcoin Babies, and I’m filled with excitement. Here, I’m eager to broaden my horizons, immersing myself in infant nutrition, financial wellness, mental health awareness, and delving into the world of Bitcoin. This project deeply resonates with me, and I’m profoundly grateful for the opportunity it offers.

I am Evelyn Wanjiku, born in Kajiado county but raised in Nairobi, and later attended school in Murang’a, Kenya. As a mother of three—two daughters and one son—my primary focus has been as a stay-at-home mom, dedicated to my children and family. I am passionate about interior design. It was during my time caring for my kids that I became acquainted with the “Bitcoin Babies” Program. I am eager to learn and be empowered in areas such as nutrition and financial saving, with the promise of bitcoin and more. Thank you for this opportunity.

My name is Emmah Wambui Muthee, originally from Kenya, born in Mwea, Kirinyaga county. I am the eldest of three siblings and currently married with three boys. My educational journey began at Thome Primary School and continued at Wang’uru Girls, where I later pursued cosmetology and beauty training at Ruiru College. Joining the Bitcoin Babies initiative excites me as it presents an opportunity to explore child welfare, particularly in nutrition, and financial wellness, with the added intrigue of bitcoin. I am eager to expand my knowledge in these areas and grateful for this opportunity. On a personal note, I am deeply passionate about beauty and dressmaking

Ann Nduati

I am Ann Nduati, originally from Kenya, born in Nyandarua into a family of 8 siblings. I am the seventh born and grew up in Nyandarua, where I also studied. After high school, I moved to Nairobi, where I pursued a few short courses. I worked for several years before relocating to Mombasa for two and a half years. Eventually, I returned to Nairobi, where I have been hustling for my kids ever since. It was in Nairobi where I met Veronicah who connected me with the “Bitcoin Babies” project. I hope through this project to become empowered, as it educates mothers on infant nutrition, mental wellness, postpartum care, and financial wellness through Bitcoin.

I am Cecilia Wanjiru, originally from Laikipia County but now residing in Nairobi. As a mother of a 4-month-old baby and the eldest of four siblings, I understand the importance of providing the best care and nurturing for my family. Despite not completing college, my dedication is unwavering, with my primary focus being the well-being of my child and family. Growing up in a close-knit family environment, I learned the value of community and support, instilling in me resilience and resourcefulness, qualities I now bring to my role as a mother. Eager to learn and grow, particularly in matters of nutrition and financial planning, I stumbled upon the “Bitcoin Babies” program. This opportunity has sparked my curiosity and desire to empower myself with knowledge that benefits not only my family but also our future.
